NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival 2015
At the 2015 NYCEMF, SnowKrash presented two works. "Zwischen den Zügen" or "Between the Trains" for 16 Channel Fixed Media and "Troubled Bridge over Water" for Video and 5.1 Audio.
The same tone material is used in both pieces, recorded on the Williamsburgh Bridge in New York.
Contact Microphones were attached at various points to the bridge's main structure and railings, making it possible to hear the "inner sounds" and resonances caused by the cars, trains and wind. The resulting recordings were used in the kompositon of sound collages for "Between the Trains" and the soundtrack for the video " Troubled Bridge...". The video material of the Williamsburgh Bridge was made while crossing the Hudson River on a ferry. The recordings were made during our participation in last years NYC EMF 2014.

Beim 2015 NYCEMF SnowKrash präsentierte zwei Stücke.
" Zwischen den Zügen" für sechzehn Lautsprecher und "Troubled Bridge over Water" für Video und sechskanalige Tonspur.
Beiden Werken liegt das selbe Tonmaterial zu Grunde, aufgenommen auf der Williamsburgh Bridge in New York.
Mit Kontaktmikrophone auf dem Boden und den Geländerstangen haben wir den "inneren Sound" der Brücke,
die durch Auto-, Zugverkehr und Wind hervorgerufenen Vibrationen, aufgenommen und diese Aufnahmen
später als Material für die collageartige Komposition "Zwischen den Zügen" und die Tonspur des Videos "Troubled Bridge" verwendet.
Das Bildmaterial hierzu entnehmen wir einer Videoaufnahme, die wir während einer Überquerung des Hudson Rivers von der Williamsburgh Bridge gemacht haben.
Alle Aufnahmen stammen aus der Zeit unseres letzten New York Aufenthaltes anlässlich des NYC EMF 2014.

Flow Walzer
was premiered September 13th, 2012 at the International Computer Music Conference ICMC 2012 in Ljubljana.
It uses the Hydrophonium, conceived and constructed expecially for our
Rheni Remix-Performance,
but in a slightly different way. As can be concluded from the name of the piece,
the material is comprised solely of the "Flow" of water
produced in a virtuoso performance on the Hydrophonium,
culminating in a dance.

seinem Namen entsprechend geht es um den "Flow" der Wasserklänge, und darum,
daß sie durch den virtuosen Gebrauch des Hydrophoniums zum Tanzen gebracht werden.
