16 Years in the Making
We do a variety of genres. But, everything boils down to the relationship of sight to sound, image to noise, the visuals to the audio. We are (considering DNA and DEI) a performance duo. Although our performativity can be expressed in fixed-media, we are at our best when combining the two: prerecorded audio and/or video with aleotoric and/or improvised live performance.
2025 B=? (Video)
B=? is a video collage of photos and videos taken in and around the Berlin Main Station in Nov. 2023. The soundtrack consists of FM sounds produced by a random generator.

2025 Alaaf! (Video with Live Melodica and Voice)
Alaaf! is Video of a visit to the Cologne zoo showcasing several different animals. The Soundtrack is an melodica arrangement of a popular carnival song. The Live Performer plays a second melodica part and sings the text of the original as well as new texts in the same style for additional animals not included in the original.

2024 Satan Santa (Video with Live Vocals and Air Guitar Duet)
Satan Santa is a satire of heavy metal music. (No harm intended) It is a remix of the German children’s song, Morgen kommt der Weihnachtsmann. (Translation: Tomorrow Santa Claus is coming.) But, Heavy Metal. The Beats we got off the internet as traditional metal double bass grooves.The text is all on Ursel!

2024 Logical Equations (Spoken Word with Sign Language)
Logical Equations is a Spoken Word piece written for the exhibit „Zahlen bitte!“ from the art cooperative „Hybrid“. A comparison of Now and Then, Here and There, This and That. With the appropriate American Sign Language.

2024 12! : Gerhard Rühm 1979 (Musical Setting for Speaker and Piano)
12! is a musical setting of Gerhard Rühm’s poem for actor and piano, written for the exhibit „Zahlen bitte!“ from the art cooperative „Hybrid“. The poem consists exclusively of a list of numbers and punctuation, but evokes some rhythmic instincts in musicians. This is our interpretation involving some Satie quotes, as well as a bit of the jazz standard „Look at Me“.

2024 1:0 : Gerhard Rühm 1987 (Musical Setting for 2 Synthesizers)
1:0 is a musical setting of Gerhard Rühm’s poem written in 1987. SnowKrash made a musical setiting of this numeric poem for 2 Aurturia Microfreak Synthesizers, each number a different sound. Written for the exhibit „Zahlen bitte!“ from the art cooperative „Hybrid“. The poem consists exclusively of a column of numbers and dots. Signifying that that particular number is missing, We interpreted the numbers as events and the dots as pauses, both with the same rhythmic space.

von aussen nach innen (Transl: from the outside to the inside) is a musical setting of Gerhard Rühm’s numeric poem written in 1986. The poem consists exclusively of a column of numbers and dots. 2024 Der Demon und die Acht (AV Performance)
Der Dämon und die Acht (TransL: The Demon and the Eight) is a performance involving traditional indonesien instruments, Anklungs made from Bamboo, Marimba and other objects that sound Polynesian. Building a background for Ursel’s fairytale text about the Demon who was obsessed with numbers from the start, became enambered with the beautiful and perfect 8.
